In order to better meet the needs of customers and ensure product quality, it is also very important to develop a set of standard inspection specifications and evaluation criteria. Today, the editor of the High Current Connector Company will introduce how to inspect the quality of connector pins and sockets:
Requirements for testing environment
Under normal lighting conditions, the product is placed on a workbench at a distance of 30CM and viewed at a 45 degree angle.
Packaging Inspection Standards
Each product packaging box and inner box must have the corresponding product name, specifications, part number, quantity, and be labeled with environmental protection signs. The packaging must not have mixed materials, wrong materials, moisture, deformation of the packaging box, or damage to the box body. Each product packaging must have corresponding protective measures.
Appearance inspection standards
The pins, sockets, or conductive parts of the product should be free of deformation, bending, oxidation, stains, etc. Use a vernier caliper and micrometer to check whether the length and outer diameter of the product are within the standard range.
Function check
Use a multimeter to check if the resistance values at both ends of the conduction are within the standard range. Place the pins of the product in a 270 ± 5 ℃ tin solution furnace for solder resistance, remove them from the furnace, and test their function after 3 hours. The function is consistent with that before the test and there is no heat loss due to grounding.
Precautions for functional inspection:
1. Wear protective gloves when inspecting and retrieving
2. Weldability and welding heat resistance shall be based on 10 PCS per batch
The above are the inspection standards for high current connector pins and sockets, hoping to help everyone!
